Boda en Madrid en mayo de 2026

Hello to all you beautiful brides!

My name is April, and we're getting married in Madrid on May 22, 2026. I live in the UK and I'm Catholic, while my fiancé isn't. I have a few questions:
1. Which Catholic churches in Madrid allow this type of wedding? Do you have any suggestions?
2. Could you recommend any good and reasonably priced photographers, videographers, hairdressers, makeup artists, and florists?
Thank you so much.
April

Hello April, yes, you can marry a non catholic if you are a catholic. he must declare previously that he understands what a catholic marriage is. At any parish.
The main difficulty I see is that you should do some kind of preparation, but you will be informed and you have time enough. If you are part of the community, the priest already know if you are ready or not. But if you get there and none knows you or you didn't go to some pre marriage course, you won't be married.

    Hi April!

Regarding the church, I’m afraid you both have to be baptised. Otherwise, they don’t allow the ceremony. You actually have to present the document from the church you got baptised that certifies it. I hope this can help

    Hello April!

    Congrats on your engagement.

    In answer to your questions:

    1. I'm afraid I can't help you much with the church since I'm getting married in a civil ceremony, but I found a post that might help you (from what I've read, as long as one of the two is baptized there is no problem)

2.In the suppliers section you can find many professionals that adapt to your style and budget.

I would recommend that you look for a wedding planner to help you with all these procedures, especially with the church, since it will make everything much easier for you.

    Good luck!
